I’m a painter and poet, and this is where the two meet.

My work is simple at heart. It comes from time spent in nature, from paying attention, and from a quiet sense of connection to something bigger than me. The paintings are a way of showing what’s happening on the inside, and the poems do the same with words. I don’t plan much. I tend to start with a feeling and follow where it goes, whether that’s charcoal and paint on canvas or a few lines on a page. What comes out is honest and a little untamed, and I hope some of it reaches you in a real way.

The painting and the poetry feed each other. Sometimes a poem gives a canvas its texture, and sometimes a colour turns into a line of verse. I’d love for you to feel the work rather than just look at it. “I don’t create art. I simply clear a path for it to come through, in whatever form it wants.”
