Otters for me are one of the cutest, cheekiest and playful little beings and I wanted to capture the essence of that. I am blessed to live in a place where they are often spotted and although they can be quite aggressive with their prey – they are fiercely loyal and it's often said they mate for life. Just popped up was prompted by a pair of otters I saw in Devon one day – where one of them just popped up, gave me that look before slinking off in the water.
