Lying in buttercups
May in Somerset is a riot of bloom and colour – the levels running up to the Tor are awash with spring coming abundantly alive. It's easy to forget that when night falls, and the land is sleeping – the flowers are all still there under the gentle silver light of the sky ablaze with stars. I wanted a different take on a wildflower landscape so I imagined what it would be like lying in the buttercups at night looking up at the stars.
