Moon whiskers
Hare’s are very aloof beings and I have rarely caught sight of one on this land - maybe once or twice. One such time was when I was sat beneath a willow when I noticed ears in the long swaying grasses. I didn’t dare breathe and being down wind – I stayed still and watched as a head popped higher and those big ears twitched to unheard sounds – she soon bounded off all legs and speed - I walked home and sketched the the outline of moon whiskers.
