I once kept bees – moved a swarm one barmy summer and being the kind of person who puts honey water out for tired bees, I often watch their dance as they get their fill from my lavender bush, heavy with pollen tracking unseen paths that only they know the secrets to – to find their way home. Pollen dance was born of this watching.
