The cronk high above me is what often alerts me to a fly over from a great Raven – I’ve loved these big gangsta corvids since childhood and now I often see them where I walk, hopping about on sturdy legs and with inquisitive curiosity tilting their head from side to side – this one perched on a nearby fence – looked at me with an ancient knowing. Clever them ravens.
