Watching a heron fish with a lifetime of practiced patience is a humbling experience – for an age they stand, majestic in their surroundings, waiting for that one clear moment when all things align and they swoop on a slithery fish in a flash. I’m not sure who was watching who more this time – me or her … either way, she inspired me to capture this.
