So i’ve gone and painted the whole "windows to the soul" thing, but there IS something haunting about an eye emerging from darkness, isn't there? The shadow is the magic, though. Because that's the thing, light only means something when it's got something to push against. It's cheeky in its simplicity, really. Just an eye. Not the whole majestic beast, not the flowing mane. Just the bit that matters. The bit that says, "I see you seeing me, and yeah, there's something going on in here."
