There is an intense focus that owl’s have when intent on prey – as true as an arrow’s path after leaving the bow – nothing gets in the way – nothing detracts the attention - steadfast. I wanted to capture that up-close and in a deeply primal way. This canvas perches on my kitchen wall watching with the same eager stare as if I were her prey.
